So nice to be home.

Well we made it home to Ohio. We packed up kids, dogs, cat, hamster and a few months worth of things we need so that we can spend the holidays with friends and family. We drove 16 hours straight through. We only stopped to get gas and pee. We drove through the night and the boys did so great. I was so nervous about how they would do. I packed an entire tote of toys and books, a bag full of snacks and you know they didnt play with anything or ask for snacks. They slept through the night and then watched movies the rest of the way without a peep. It was so nice and went way easier then I thought it ever would.

We have been here a few days now and it is so nice to be "home". The boys are having a blast and it feels like Christmas already. Its so nice to have the cold weather. Today we went to Melanies and took a walk to the park. It was a lot of fun. they played in the leaves and had a blast.

So far so good. Now we just wait and see where and when we actually have to move ourselves. For now though I will just enjoy being here. The fact the we are able to be here for the holidays with everyone we love means so much.

Okay my eyes are closing as i type...more later!

SuperMOM???

So this happened last week and I can't believe I forgot to post about it. On Thursday the day before Halloween I was going a mile a minute trying to get things done. I had to cut up strawberries for Ryan's class party on Friday and make sugar cookies for Cameron's class. I did this all during the day because that night I was going to a stamping party with my friend Trish. So as I am making the food I call the boys school and talk to the director about the parties.I ask her if the boys still needed to bring a lunch since they were having a party, she informed me they did not. So I finish everything I needed to get done and the babysitter comes over and I head to my party. That night I got home about midnight I open the fridge to get a drink and there in front of my eyes is a half eaten bowl of strawberries that I needed to feed 18 kids in the morning! AHHH!!!! I totally forgot to tell the babysitter to eat anything EXCEPT the Strawberries! So totally my fault! Thank God for Trish she saved the day and picked some up for me that night!
Then the next day is Friday, Halloween, day of the parties. I feel like supermom going to school. I have my boys dressed in their costumes, strawberries, cookies, and even treat bags I made for each child in both their classrooms. We do the drop off then Zachary and I return home to our normal routine. 11:15 runs around and I the phone rings, its the school...PANIC!
C-Hello
D(director of school)-Hello is this Ryan and Cameron's mom?
C-Yes it is, is everything okay?
D-Well, Cameron's class was just sitting down to eat lunch and I believe you forgot to bring his.
C-(In my mind I am thinking, ARE YOU EFFING KIDDING ME???)-I called and spoke with you directly yesterday and you said they did not need a lunch because they were having a party.
D-OHHH yes I am so sorry it was a miscommunication and I was misinformed. What would you like to do about it?
C-(in my mind,WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO ABOUT IT???) Well I guess I will have to bring them a lunch now won't I?
D-Again I apologize
C-Its okay no problem(ARE YOU GONNA PAY FOR MY GAS TO DRIVE BACK UP THERE, SINCE THIS IS YOUR FAULT???)
D-Bye
C-Bye

This just goes to show you that as much as you prepare and think you are doing good, something or someone always messes it up! But we just have to keep on trying!!!

Heading Home

Well, if it couldn't get any crazier around here...it just did. While my hubby is in NY working, I am packing up the kids, the pets and all our things and going to Ohio for the holidays. Yes it is the craziest thing I have ever done! It will save us money from flying back and forth twice for thanksgiving and Christmas and we can see my hubby every weekend. We are so excited about that! The problem is packing up your whole life to live somewhere else for a few months. On top of that we are leaving this weekend ...in 2 days! OMG!!!

Update on Zachary and his paci. Cutting the nipple off totally worked. Now when I ask him if he wants his paci he says, "No it's disgusting Mommy". I LOVE it! Everyone that calls talks to him on the phone asks him the same thing just to hear him say it....its so darn cute!

Okay I am off to pack! More Later!
